Creating your own diy beauty products is easy!

Let me get you started!

You will need to have a few basic ingredients that can be used in many different recipes to create your own diy skin care and beauty products. It can seem overwhelming at first, but I’m here to take you step by step through the process!

I’ve been making my own soap and skin care products for several years. I’ve made mistakes and learned where to find the best resources and ingredients.
Start small and figure out if you really enjoy creating your own products or not. Don’t be tempted to buy more ingredients to “save” money on shipping only to discover that you don’t really like how a recipe turned out.

I prefer to use a scale to weigh my ingredients. You can find a scale at a soap making store, Amazon, or a hardware store. It’s also really useful for baking as many bakers weigh ingredients in lieu of using measuring cups.

Here’s a good basic list of ingredients. Some you may already have in your pantry. You do not have to buy all of these ingredients to begin. I always check to see what ingredients that I have on hand first, and if I am missing an ingredient, which one will be most cost effective and can be used in various recipes.
