How To Make a Nourishing Nail Serum

Making a nail serum is quick and easy! I have two different recipes that you can use, depending on which carrier oils you have available. Grab my free printable how-to below!

  • Argan oil provides a good source of linoleic and oleic fatty acids. It also boasts high levels of vitamin E.
  • Jojoba oil’s absorbent properties make it a great blend with moisturizing and antifungal vitamin E for nail health.
  • Castor oil; the presence of fatty acids in castor oil makes it a great moisturiser and an ultimate source of hydration for dry and damaged nails.
  • Almond oil—this oil carries essential antioxidants and nutrients from Vitamin E, A, B1, B2, and B6. When you apply it, the nail receives protection from peeling, cracking, dryness, and breakage.
  • Vitamin E is a super antioxidant prized for its ability to heal and protect the skin.
  • Frankincense essential oil helps to moisturize nails so that they can grow longer and stronger.
  • Lemon essential oil not only softens the cuticles but also promotes nail growth by combating the fungus that slows down nail growth.

My favorite places to get carrier oils, for the best price is online, check out www.voyageursoapandcandle as well as https://www.windypointsoap.com/ for carrier oils, vitamin E and glass droppers. uline.ca or uline.com are also great sources for glass bottles in bulk. I love my Young Living Essential Oils for all my essential oil needs! You may feel free to use your own favorite brand. You can check out why my family only uses Young Living here
